Simon is just back from performing at California's NAMM show at the exclusive invitation of Steinway's owner, John Paulson. His performance of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, (Simon's own arrangement) wowed the specially invited 450-strong audience at a private event for Steinway and Conn-Selmer. Simon was also invited to sit in with saxophonist Jessy J and her band, as well as for an arrangement of Ravel's Bolero, featuring the Steinway piano as well as many of Conn Selmer's instruments. Simon also joined clarinettist Julian Bliss for a truly virtuosic performance of Monti's Czardas. Simon is now preparing for upcoming recitals in Connecticut, an evening of Bill Solly's show tunes in New York with the composer/lyricist himself, a performance at Manhattan's famed Bemelman's Bar and a weekend of concerts with the Allentown Symphony.

Simon’s latest recording features the beautiful melodies of Welsh composer Ivor Novello, whose music was made all the more popular by Robert Altman’s Oscar-winning film ‘Gosford Park’, with a screenplay by Julian Fellowes, (of Downton Abbey fame). Simon’s intimate adaptation of Novello’s music is garnering rave reviews and is sure to set the mood, be it relaxing, romantic or rousing.
